4 dance days, 4 music events, and 4 house concerts. $1,437 balance = Total year to date $14,500 = Total balance -- will email missing financial page showing total balance. |

| JD | Close to having solid agreements from most of the bands. Big Jug Band and Lounge Lizards still not quite confirmed. | |

| Alternative bands in reserve to ask. Contracts to go out after confirmations received from all bands. | ||
| EP | Pink Sound confirmed for both days. | |
| Part of contract agreement states that bands hired need to be available to contribute a workshop if asked. | ||
| KT | Afternoon dance session….payment to Squirrel Heads band discussion. EP and JD commented - Afternoon dances have not been successful in the past. Funding for dance band uncertain. Hard to keep up with folks just coming in for the dance. KT will visit Camp Ben McCullough to check out the surface for dancers. |

| Publicity – HR asked about budget for publicity to promote ASBF. He will inquire about costs for ads from various magazines and publications around town and get back to the board. Three email group lists and facebook groups to be sent festival info. Several KOOP and/or other radio shows to be used for live band performances. | ||
| EP | RE: Silent auction. Everybody should ask around for items. She’s looking for bumper stickers, how-to books, etc. | |
| JD | bring back promotional materials from fiddle contests, festivals, in Texas and around the country for bulletin board at ASBF. | |
| 5. | CF | Mentioned possible membership blurb on AFTM facebook page. HR will look into this. |
| 6. | JD | Wassail event – December 20, 2009 will take place at the Gryphon School/Sri Atmananda, 41st and Red River. AFTM agreed to promote in the Reel Times and on website. Interested performers should contact Daryl of Mundi. Fundraiser for charity. |
| 7. | EP | asked: Sri Atmananda venue -- Possible venue for Stairwell Sisters (March 26, 2010)? HR will contact and find out costs to rent. |
| EP | Allan Poque’s house, room big enough? She will look into this. | |
| 8. | Dougherty Arts Center confirmed for MWF 1/23/2010. | |
| CF | St. Edward’s University facility too expensive. | |
| DR | DAC is giving the best rate. | |
| EP | talked to ACC, also expensive | |
| JD | Aiken’s High School also too expensive. | |
| Parking situation for MWF – EP will look into a garage run by the city of Austin, connected to an office building, near the Lyric Opera on Barton Springs for MWF parking. | ||

| Carol P. Weiss sent an email to AFTM asking about her performing "sea shanty" concert in December 2009. JD forwarded the info on to Clay Levit at Fiddlers Green. | ||
